In post-production. The Cleaner is a film that tells the story of a young woman – serial killer that murder people in order to clean “their lives from this dirty world”.
The film explore the psychopathic – criminal behavior of Pola and Lucia.
” The idea that move me to write the script was driven by a real event. But also my interest to portrait the psycho- social context of the criminality among women who were victims of violence during their childhood. The cumulative effects of early life exposures to abuse and antisocial experiences”– Eddy Rivera
Pola wrote in her diary: ” I am obsessed with cleanliness…not only with the day-to-day things like surfaces, door handles, public transport etc., but also my own body. In addition, those bacteria, streptococci and all that shit we know people live with. Sometimes I want to erase them, boil, burn all of them and flush down the toilet along with the cosmetics and perfumes that make them dirtier and uglier… I am just a cleaner… a lonely parasite of God.”
